Earnings Due 4/24/08 Estimates $0.60 per share
BIDU is a rocket ride of a stock. It will reward you with huge profits and then wipe you out if you are not careful. Because they are the GOOGLE of China and a foreign stock, they are prone to wild, and I mean WILD swings in the market. You have to have an iron stomach to play this one, but if you work a solid straddle strategy, then your rewards are plentiful.

Suggested Option Plays
NOTE: Since BIDU has already run up over $100 in the last 30 days, there is a ton of premium pumped into the calls so you stand a very high probability of losing on this trade even if they announce great earnings and profit taking kicks in. It's a gamble for sure, but like all gambles, the rewards are huge if you are right.
Now if they miss, the PUTS are going to be a HUGE winner.
Update 5/7/08
Even though the stock did rise after earnings, the premium packed in was just too much to overcome. At this point the options are falling in value rapidly with expiration coming in a week.
