1/9/13 - I have been scalping AAPL with puts and today it started to drop off into the close showing more and more weakness. The daily chart put in yet another Bear green reversal bar which has prove to be a very effective short signal. Because there have been so many of them, I am getting less confident they will continue to perform, but until that signal fails I will trust it with less contracts. AAPL is losing iits love as I predicted and GOOG and FB are holding ground with FB really putting on some big moves!

====================================================================================

1/6/13 - There has been no love for the AAPL after it tested $555.00. In fact, it has now been left by the wayside as investors move money to stocks like FB and GOOG. This stock is BROKEN and me be beyond repair unless they massively beat earnings this time around. As I have said before, once a stock starts to raise its dividend, that usually means the massive growth curve is going to slow and although AAPL is and will be a darling stock, it will NOT have the price growth it has experienced in the past few years unless it can beat earnings estimates and continue to innovate with products that have massive appeal.

The daily chart clearly shows me this stock has and is being heavily sold off but not dumped. That means to me the big money is shifting speculation gears out of this stock and any moves to the upside or downside will be controlled except for earnings releases.

With the next release scheduled for Jan 23, we may not even see the typical earnings run up like previous quarters. I know that this week will be a pivotal one based on the daily chart and I am optimistic that AAPL will make that earnings run; however, if they do not handily beat estimates this stock is going to definitely see sub $500 and I will have my Lotto puts ready.

The daily chart looks very ugly but looks are very deceiving when it comes to AAPL.
