LOTTO PLAYS COMMENTARY FOR GOOG

 

Google has earnings Thursday after the bell and true to form, they annouce the day before options expiration. With the current market trend of late, Google could finally disappoint and if they do, LOOK OUT BELOW.

The PUT options can make an absolute FORTUNE!!!!!!

You may recall that Google rocked the house and launched over $100 a share on the last earnings announcement, but since that time it has done nothing but sell off steadily into this announcement. Now, should things go bad on Thursday, you can bet your bottom dollar that Google will test last quarters pre earnings high around $450.

I am speculating they will get taken to the woodshed and slammed down below $450 and maybe even hit $400. Wouldn't that just be grand....can you say a hundred grand! ;-) Nah, how about a cool MILLION BUCKS baby yeah!

So if you want to really take a swing for the fence then pick up the $410's and hope we get a whopper of a disappointment.

NOTE: this is a 100% PURE SPECULATION play and should ONLY be done with money you can afford to lose. If you have the guts to go for it then best of luck and if you want to maybe take a better shot at a continued sell off then pick up the August expiration too.

 

7/22/08 - Google made a valiant effort to fake out investors with a 17 point rally two days before earning, but it could not hold up as they missed growth estimates The put options depreciated too much that even a $45 point drop was unable to make a decent profit for these lotto plays. However, if you entered the play after that initial 17 point rally then you were definitely rewarded with a very nice profit.
